| The first, School Program Picnic was held Oct. 12, 2008
at Jim Milne's house with twenty-six of the forty students in the
program attending.
Pat Donovan-Potts, Marine Scientist and the environmental youth
coordinator for PenderWatch, did a fantastic job managing the picnic and
keeping everyone organized.
Pat, and teachers, Charlie Baker (South Topsail Elementary School),
Sharon Mooney-Hughes (Topsail Middle School) and Ben Schosek (Topsail
High School) have done a great job with our
budding
environmentalists. |
